Puzzle · Creator platform

Design the board. Define the rules.

Matchforge is a match-3 you build, not just play. Paint the tile layout, bend the board physics, pick what counts as a match, then publish your level to a searchable cloud catalogue with your name on it.

What makes Matchforge different

A match-3 built for makers first.

Most match-3 games hand you a fixed campaign and hope you keep paying. Matchforge hands you the tools that built it. Custom boards, configurable rules, and community sharing are the core experience — not a bonus mode bolted on the side.

Creator + painter

Build levels in-game

A built-in creator and painter. Lay down tile layouts by hand, set the objectives, choose the gravity direction, and play-test the whole thing without ever leaving the game.

Board physics

Non-rectangular boards

Voids, walls, spawn points, and per-cell flow directions. Go far beyond simple top-down falling — tiles can slide sideways, split, and pool wherever you route them.

Match rules

Configure what counts

Set the rules per level: line-4, line-5, L / T / angle shapes, or 2×2 box matches — each with its own tied special reward. The scoring is yours to design.

Specials

Chain reactions

Advanced specials like heli bombs, plus special-plus-special combinations that detonate into big board-wide reactions. Tune how volatile — or how forgiving — a level feels.

Cloud publishing

Publish with your name

Levels publish to the cloud tagged with your creator username and full metadata. Share a build with a community and watch people play the thing you made.

Catalogue

Searchable everything

Filter the whole catalogue by board size, difficulty, ball count, ice / grass, rating, completion rate, attempts, and creator. Find exactly the level you're in the mood for.

The board and the workshop behind it.

Matchforge gameplay — a match-3 board mid-play with coloured tiles, specials, and objective counters.
Playing a level — specials, objectives, and a board that isn't just a plain rectangle.

The level editor — paint the layout, drop walls and spawns, set the flow and objectives.

The creator loop

Build. Tune. Publish. Learn.

The good part isn't finishing someone else's puzzle — it's making one that lands, then watching the numbers tell you how it played.

  1. Build Paint the board in the creator. Shape it with voids and walls, place spawn points, set the gravity, and drop in your objectives.
  2. Tune Pick the match rules and special rewards. Test it, tighten the difficulty, and decide how much chaos the specials are allowed to cause.
  3. Publish Send it to the cloud catalogue under your creator name, with the metadata that makes it findable — board size, difficulty, ball count and more.
  4. Learn Watch the completion rates, attempts, and ratings come back. See what's too brutal, what's too easy, and forge the next one better.

Cloud catalogue

Every level, one search away.

Community-built levels land in a shared, searchable catalogue. Slice it however you like — the filters are built for people who know exactly the kind of board they want next.
